Autobiography by a Filipino Methodist missionary, narrating his upbringing and decision to become a missionary. By 1941 he was Superintendent of the Isabela and Cagayan Districts of his church; he writes of his wartime experiences in pp. 73-84. He met a friendly Christian Japanese, but otherwise faced many challenges.
