Publication of the official report of the 15th Infantry Regiment, US Army Forces in the Philippines, North Luzon (USAFIP NL), documenting the history and specifically the operations of the regiment in the liberation of the Ilocos region in 1944-1945. The regiment was commanded by Col. Robert H. Arnold, succeeded by Col. Ancheta after the war.

Gives administrative organization, personnel information, unit data, and details of specific battles. Also provides a list of these killed and wounded, and the casualties inflicted on the Japanese.

Ancheta adds his own article, “Assessment of the Battle of San Mateo Bridge,” comments on the report, and list of officers of the regiment as of November 1945.
