Covers movement of Headquarters, Southern Army, to Manila and efforts of the 14th Army to effect defense preparations while simultaneously subduing guerrillas and insurgents. Contains some discussion on the Philippines as a logistical base for the Southern Theater of Operations. (Unedited translation, 56 pages)”
