Fifth in this series, this volume is in three parts: first, a historical narrative which is partly a chronology and partly a narrative; part II, which reprints Gen. Wainwright’s report of operations of the US Army Forces in the Far East (USAFFE) and US Forces in the Philippines (USFIP) (previously published by Col. Ancheta). Part III is composed of brief histories of Luzon-based guerrilla units, mostly based on Gen. Willoughby’s book (some, or most, previously published in earlier volumes).
