At the end of the war they are reunited with their father, who suffered in POW camp.

Some Tagalog words used for local color (most all right, but a few misspellings). One of a series of books for children depicting historical events. Historical consultant for this volume was Maj. Gen. Courtney Whitney. Pen and ink illustrations have the soldiers in Bataan using the wrong (late war) helmet.
