Autobiography of Dr. Poweleit, including his wartime experiences as battalion surgeon with the 192nd Tank Battalion, and with the Provisional Tank Group, in the defense of the Philippines in 1941-1942. He also details his experiences as a prisoner of war.

This portion of his autobiography essentially is taken from his earlier books, "USAFFE" and "Kentucky’s Fighting 192nd Light G.H.Q. Tank Battalion." This book goes into more detail regarding his pre-war and post-war experiences in the U.S. Poweleit provides a section on his tank unit, the 192nd Tank Battalion, in the pages prior to the autobiography proper.
